Pansies
The first picture is of a Pansy that bloomed at my mom's house in January! Can you believe anything could bloom in January in NJ? Pansies are my mom's symbol for her mom so she felt that it was my grandmother watching over us and letting us know she is happy that we are all on good terms ...
I took that picture for inspiration for a either a card or maybe a framed piece that I will give my mom down the road ... I'm pretty happy with how the finished piece came out!
I used a huge selection of BV and V Copic markers with my PSX stamp, Brilliance Black Graphite Ink and Neenah Solar White paper from Ellen Hutson ... I almost forgot ... I also used my Atyou Spica glitter markers to give it a little extra something ...
I hope you like it ... and I really hope my mom will like it ... I will share the completed piece when it is ready to go :)
Hugs,
Kimberly

La La Land Mod Marci
I love this stamp! I think Marci is adorable with her guitar ... In this first one, I used E000, E00, R00 and R81 for her face and lips. I used E17 and E18 on her hair and RV91, 93, 95 and 99 on her outfit. I also used E15, 17 and 18 on her guitar ... I love the colors of her outfit! In person they're a beautiful plum/berry color :) I'm not at all happy with her hair. I suppose I just have to keep practicing ...
In this version I believe I used the same colors on her face. Her outfit is done with E71, 74, 77 and 79 ... I absolutely adore the color combination! I'm sorry but I don't recall what colors I used on the guitar. Most likely I used E35, E42 and B39 ... Her hair is troublesome for me. I believe I used E27 and 29 here ...
Please let me know what you think :)

Kimberly

Thank You Card for my Mom
This a thank you card I made for my mom for everything she's done for me ... I used my PSX Poppies stamp, Brilliance Graphite Black ink, Copic markers and Spellbinders French Frills dies with JustRite Ooh La La French Frills stamps ... Also, the green paper is from Teresa Collins' Fabrications line ... The red base card is from AC.
Inside the card I included a piece of vellum that I stamped and colored from the back ... A new technique that I tried and I thought came out pretty well :)

New Directions!
Hi everyone/anyone that might be out there! When I started this blog, I was completely addicted to my many Cricuts! I still love my Cricuts dearly but after so much upset and falling apart of the Cricut Circle, I became disenchanted ....
So, on I moved to Copic markers! I wasn't sure if I should start a new blog or just continue to post to this blog with my new adventures ... I've decided to just have this one blog ... I'm going to post my many Copic creations ... Whether they're completed projects or just colored pieces, whether they came out well or not, I'll be posting them all here!
I have a little backtracking to do as I have a couple completed projects done that I will post separately and numerous images that I have colored but haven't turned to cards or SB pages yet ...
So! I'm super excited about this new turn I'm taking and sharing it here with you ... I hope you'll help me learn along the way with your comments and I won't feel so guilty about my much-neglected blog!
The future looks bright :)
*hugs*

Easter Card for DD
This
is the card I made for my DD, Jenna. I can't believe we won't be
together for Easter! I miss her SO much! I'm so proud of her but the
selfish part of me just wishes she was here! :)
I used My Mind's Eye Paper and my Cricut AE2 to make this card. I used Easter Magic for the most adorable bunny and Easter 2010 for the scalloped egg shape card and plain egg shape. I welded the scalloped egg with my Gypsy to create the card base.
I included a Prima flower and a Prima crystal on the bunny with some pretty organza ribbon from the dollar bins at JoAnn's. The "Love at Easter" stamp was also from the dollar bins at AC Moore from last year.
I really love the MME paper and Prima embellishments - I think they really make the card! I hope my daughter likes the card and I hope YOU do too!
Happy Easter!

A Birthday Card for my DH
This is a birthday card that Jaimie designed for her Daddy and we created using my Cricut AE2. We waited until the last minute so we didn't get too fancy but I think she was pleased with the results!
The ice cream cone is from the Sweet Treats cartridge. The orange paper is from American Craft. Jaimie chose the embossing folder - she thought it looked like that Vanilla Swirl ice cream :) It's not the best card we ever made but it worked okay in the end ...
Cute, right?
Bulletin Boards at Jaimie's School
Hi! So, I've been MIA for awhile! That doesn't mean I haven't been creating like crazy! I've been so busy that I haven't had time to blog ... but I have a lot of projects to share ... This one is the bulletin boards that I design at my daughter's school. I do all the photography for the school so all the pictures are mine ... and now I use my Cricut to create the most adorable decorations to include with them! So, here are some pix ...
This is the main board by the Principal's office when you first walk in. I put these up in September or October. They feature photos from the "Spring Fling" dance they had ... the theme was a Luau so, of course, I used my Luau cartridge ... I also included some cuts from the Cricut Lite "Recess" cartridge.
The "Diabetes Walk" sign was using the Birthday Bash cartridge. I also used it to create the K-5 on the apples.
This is another Bulletin Board that I created in the All Purpose Room. The "Study" "Learn" and "Play" are from the Cricut Lite Recess cartridge. The Field Day Fun at School 21 sign I made using the font on the Birthday Bash cartridge.
It's a LOT of work putting these together ... I'm a perfectionist so I have to be sure I have a picture of every kid and we have 262 of them! Also, I usually take 300-400 pictures when I cover one of their events so there's a lot of photo editing involved and narrowing down which pictures to use ... Then I have to get them printed and, of course, the fun part of creating Cricut cuts! The hardest part sometimes is deciding which amazing cartridge to use! There are so many choices and I love them all!
I hope you like my Elementary School Bulletin Boards. I have more to post but I'm going to put them in a separate post. My next project is that I'm creating the school year book! Oh boy! What have I gotten myself into this time? Wish me luck please :)

Jenna's Victorian Romance Card
This is a Valentine's Day card I made for my older daughter, Jenna ... I thought I posted this almost a year ago but just noticed that it was only a draft ... I know I used the Victorian Romance cartridge by Cricut and Echo Park papers but that's all I recall at the moment! lol ... Oh, the pin is from Webster's Pages.
I hope you enjoy it ... It was a scraplift from Rockin' Renee ... I will post a link to her original ASAP ...
Hugs,
Kimberly
